Through the support of donors, campers and retreat guests were able to enjoy new South Wing guestroom windows, updated Dining Hall bathroom floors, and ringing the Camp Aldersgate bell for the first time since the 80’s.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Aldersgate has made great strides in improving the experiences of campers and guests. Most recently, we have replaced the windows of three South Wing guest rooms. These new windows will keep the rooms warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
We also renovated the Dining Hall bathrooms this spring. Due to water damage, the floors of both bathrooms needed to be replaced. Due to volunteers from Johnson & Wales University, we were able to replace and upgrade the handwashing sinks as well.
Lastly, the Camp Aldersgate bell has been mounted and run for the first time in almost 40 years! Through NOMADS volunteers and donors like you, we were able to design and construct a small belltower which called all campers to meals for the first time since the 80’s.
